The Dictator (2012)

He's done it again!!! Comedian Sasha Baron Cohen on his Full length scripted  movie The Dictator among his movies are Ali G, Borat. The movie is indeed hilarious but offensive for some people. Without his trademark beard, people was unable to recognized the Wadeya dictator.  Anna Faris or Zoey on her role as Vegan feminist owner of a store played a good acting on this movie.

The Dictator is brilliantly irreverent, juvenile, cartoonish, and it will have you laughing, feeling guilty about laughing, and then laughing even harder.-- According to http://collider.com/the-dictator-review/166332/
The heroic story of a dictator who risks his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed.

Alcatel 918N Blaze Glory Review

I have purchased this wonderful, amazing phone last January 2012 at SM North EDSA since that time the only area that has this  model, I went to SM Pampanga, Robinsons and even inquired at SM Megamall but unlucky to buy one, good thing it's available at one stall at SM North.
Been using Windows phone for almost 4 years SAP Amazing  and Atom 02, with it's OS a lot of developers created apps that could be useful as a tool, utils, weather, and has an internet capability.
But when my windows phone has gotten so slow, and with a tight budget I decided to get a new one, at exact timing I have seen the ALCATEL OneTouch Blaze Glory 918N!! This unit is so impressing!

Using the dual SIM function is flawless signal is good can simultaneously send and recieve. Internet connection connection can be controlled with the use of data connection drop down function. Andoid 2.3 Gingerbread meaning you could install available apps you could find at google market or free apps on the internet. Lovely!! Processor is fast! The only problem I had is low phone memory, good thing I can use the external memory for installation. Camera function.... for a snap shot its fine to use, I have installed Pixlr-o Mat, Path, softbox Lite, sensor camera, man with camera for my photography needs.

The price P 5,999.00 very affordable with that functions I really love like wifi, 3G, the 3.2 inch screen, Dual Sim Functionality, a decent processor speed, Android 2.3 Gingerbread. This comes in many color but I have the Black model. And ohh!! After using it for it 6 months the battery is still good I can use it 2 days without charging  and or if on standby(I'm also using battery saver).

The Lorax 2012 (Movie)

A 12-year-old boy searches for the one thing that will enable him to win the affection of the girl of his dreams. To find it he must discover the story of the Lorax, the grumpy yet charming creature who fights to protect his world.

This movie reminds me of wall-e, not because the the setting is at a walled city, it has something to do with the saving the earth, winning the girl of his dream, his determination to change the ways of the greedy mayor o'hare. Ted (voice of zac efron) determined to stop the devastation of the environment and undo what the old grumpy businessman did on the past. A single tree that saved all of them where the lorax was so happy that when that tree grew, came all the trees filled the forest.
One of the funny scene was the lorax used 2 of the rats to revived The Once-Ler with electric charge. The leaves of the tree look like cotton candies. hahaha. They too have great innovation using machine to cut trees easily.

I love this quote from this movie:
Ted: The last seed?
Once-ler: It's not about what it is. It's about what it can become. Just like... you're not just a boy.

Cast overview, first billed only:

Overall this movie is a hit for me, love the story, funny, entertaining, the animation is good so clear, worth watching, and you will learn something.

Brave 2012 (Movie)

Set in Scotland in a rugged and mythical time, "Brave" features Merida, an aspiring archer and impetuous daughter of royalty. Merida makes a reckless choice that unleashes unintended peril and forces her to spring into action to set things right. --Storyline from: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1217209/

Watch the movie at Harbor Point, Ayala own mall last August 4, 2012  in 3D.

I like the way Merida talks... really Scottish the way she pronounce Destiny and Mom. The animation was good but this girl, she's a bratty type character always had an argument with her mom, the queen Elinor. I notice when Elinor turned into a Bear, she was unable to talk so she had to talk sign, Merida said Mom, I can't talk bear, then on one scene Merida can now read Sign Language.Like all the Disney Pixar movies and animations there's always a riddle to save someone who had been cast with the spell of the witch. She's a Brave lass. The ending is fine too.. (not giving spolilers) hehe.

                                           The trailer:

Watched it on 3D... the movie is indeed flat, but the animation is superb.

Some facts:

HIDDEN MICKEY: The belt that Queen Elinor wears in the first half of the movie forms a hidden Mickey when viewed from the front. You can see the distinct Mickey head and the two ears as connecting circles around her waist.

The character Lord Macintosh is a reference to the Apple computer. Steve Jobs was a co-founder of Apple and played a big role in Pixar.
